The People & Communications teams support employees from recruitment to career development, through Wakam Pathways, feedback and key company moments. The team carries also Wakam's voice to the outside world.
The Finance team provides the financial insight and rigour needed to support sound decisions, from forecasting and accounting to cash management.
Together, they help Wakam remain both people-focused and financially strong.
People
The People squad supports every Wakamee throughout their journey: from recruitment and onboarding to career development, internal mobility, skills development, compensation and company culture. We create the conditions for everyone to thrive, grow and give their best.
Through Wakam Pathways, we provide clear career frameworks, transparent expectations and different development opportunities, whether you want to deepen your expertise or move into people management. From key company moments like the Forum and FreeDay to our everyday culture of feedback, we champion a strong, demanding yet caring environment, true to who Wakam is.
Communication
The Communication Squad carries Wakam's voice to the outside world: press relations, social media, website, events, employer branding and brand campaigns. We build and showcase Wakam's identity to the market, talent and partners.
We shape and spread our mission through targeted campaigns, standout events and engaging social media interactions. If Wakam is visible and recognised, it's largely thanks to this team.
The Squad is also responsible to spread key information within the company thanks to the Forum, key event or internal newsletter.
Finance
The Finance squad ensures Wakam’s financial strength and strategic soundness. From FP&A to accounting and tax, from cash management to partner cash reconciliation, every euro is accounted for, every forecast is reliable, and every decision is grounded in solid data.
Operating across two regulated entities, Wakam SA and Wakam UK, and managing a multi-currency, multi-country business is part of our daily work. Behind every partnership, product launch and strategic decision, there is a Finance team making sure the numbers add up.
